Teams - Member Notifications Going to Junk in Outlook - Microsoft Community
there setting in teams prevents new member email going junk? for most, notification goes inbox. we've had few found in junk. thank you.

generally， if email has been detected spam, moved junk folder. sometimes, emails moved junk false positive. so, can refer https://support.office.com/en-us/article/prevent-email-from-being-marked-as-spam-in-eop-and-office-365-74aaade0-efc0-46ac-b949-f2d1d59256fa?ui=en-us&rs=en-us&ad=us&fromar=1 try stopping these emails being marked spam.
way, if talking microsoft teams, i’d teams has own client/app , isn’t configured in outlook. so, understanding referring office 365 group (owa group). see following screenshot. if not, may upload screenshot mine clarify situation.
