subscription renewal - Microsoft Community

i have renewed office 365 subscription , can still not windows programs.

do mean can't use office desktop client apps on computer?

as haven’t mentioned information subscription or error message, please check information , follow steps below see result , provide update information us:

• if subscription office 365 business

1. go url  https://portal.office.com/account/#subscriptions check if have “the latest desktop version of office” license. license should have activate office work or school account.

2. if don’t have license, please contact admin assign license you.

3. check if office desktop right version. please open office program, file>account>product information check that. right version should office 365 proplus.

4. if version not right, make sure download office office 365 home page. (portal.office.com).

• if having license , right office client version, please follow steps below re-activate office:

1. sign out accounts , quit office applications.

2. right click start menu>run>insert “cmd” enter.

3. insert command:

cd c:\program files (x86)\microsoft office\office16

then press enter

insert command:

cscript.exe ospp.vbs /dstatus

then press enter

write down each product key.

insert command:

cscript.exe ospp.vbs /unpkey:<key number>

then press enter

use step 6 clear key number.

open office application sign in again new accounts.

• if subscription office 365 home

as category focus on office 365 business. if have home subscription, need post new question office/install, upgrade , activate/windows 10/ office 365 home.
