i recently, in today recent, created microsoft account proceed with the free trial. went through whole process , followed instructions correctly, once received email verification notice verified email on phone! processed log account through laptop but a message popped stating not able log account because laptop not affiliated account. question is... why verify account impact appliances can log into? how can change that, so i can log account on laptop?

your two-step microsoft account enabled, two-step verification helps protect making more difficult else sign in microsoft account. turn off two-step verification, can follow steps below:

  1. go security basics page, , sign in microsoft account.

  2. select more security options.

  3. under two-step verification, choose turn off two-step verification turn off.

  4. follow instructions.
