KB4041676 causes to Excel to hang - Microsoft Community

since installing kb4041676 , restarting pc excel stops updating display when 2 instances of excel running. can save files , close ok display doesn't update , excel windows gets more , more blank areas.  

hi,

there many factors affect performance of files such corruption errors , applications running in background. identify what's causing issue, know following:

  • are getting error messages?
  • just clarify, issue occur when 2 or more excel files open simultaneously?
  • does happen excel files?
  • do encounter same issue other office files word docs or powerpoint files?
