Help using lifetime supcription for Office Home & Student Retail - Microsoft Community

have office home & student retail 2013; tried converting pdf format word , send document via e-mail, message said subscription not active. also, message states have newer version of office installed, unable use!!!  must use word documents?

1. can try removing newer version of office fix tool. newer version office 365 or 2016 can verify going control panel > add or remove programs
