Preview panel won't work for Office 2016 with windows 7 - Microsoft Community

i have windows 7 , installed office 2016. preview panel in windows explore not work excel sheets anymore. how can fixed?

improper or incorrect permissions can trigger issues in accessing preview panel in office 2016. isolate case, we'd confirm following information:

  • is issue confined excel sheets/documents only?
  • have made recent changes device prior happening?
  • are there 3rd party applications or programs installed on device?
  • have tried check if same thing happens other user profiles?
  • have tried repairing office version?
  • what steps have taken far?
