Office 2016 failed to install? - Microsoft Community

i attempted upgrade office 2010 office 2016.  ran installer package, , software seemed install properly.  when open word or other office programs they're still office 2010 (when go file:help).  when click on start menu program list, see office 2010 , "microsoft office 2016 tools", not 2016 programs.  in programs , features listing in control panel, see both office 2010 , office 2016.  need upgrade work?

one of possible reasons why experiencing issues office due of damaged components within application. upgrade office 2016, suggest uninstalling office 2010 first before installing office 2016 on device. avoid software conflicts. visit link further information how upgrade microsoft office 2016.
