Fitting trendline and manually adjusting R^2 value - Microsoft Community

hi trying manipulate r^2 value make trend line more accurate. attempting manually input first order system equation (y=a+be^-t/tau) know how this? know poorly worded question not no how or doing.

if want customize trend line in excel 2016 mac, can go add chart element. add trendline, click more trendline options.

then can format trendline.

 

while not feasible manually adjusting trendline fit value. can edit number.
