OneNote in Mac - sync error code that is not true - Microsoft Community

hi all,

here peculiar situation experiencing onenote (15.40) on mac (sierra, 10.12.6). getting constant "couldn't sync" messages notebooks syncing properly. verifying against web version of onenote.

so, not problem. rather annoyance since cannot sure changes doing synced.

and in case interested error code 0xe0000063

please notebooks first , follow steps below see result:

  1. sign out account quit onenote.
  2. open keychain access, search microsoftoffice , delete it.
  3. open onenote sign in account see result.
  4. close problematic notebook re-open see result.

 

if issue persists, narrow down issue have, please provide information below:

  1. does issue happen specific notebook/section/page or notebooks?
  2. please provide screenshot sync error.
