In our school, we would like to use Teams. Are any other schools - Microsoft Community

hello everyone.

i work in school , use teams students.

at moment have enabled teams staff not students.

my question is: there issues regard student use (or misuse) need aware of?

is possible students create teams without teacher?

how monitor bullying , harassment?

anything else need aware of?

no, these users assigned office 365 education license can use teams normally. license looks like: education, education plus , education e5, existing education e3 suites.

is possible students create teams without teacher?

no. each team should classroom, , teacher owner of team. so, teacher can assign , review work , create channels , files. detailed information, please see: create team classes in microsoft teams.

how monitor bullying , harassment?

based on experience, there no direct way monitor situation. however, may let admin turn on multi-factor authentication make sure account security. meanwhile, can information audit log search, created team, added channels etc.
