Problem with Excel, multiple cells shade grey when I only select one - Microsoft Community

this real nuisance. have several templates in version 15.37 (build 170815). when select 1 cell data input several rows of cells grey out along multiple rows.  any assistance glitch helpful. issue seems appear after each update applied , glitch acts corrupt template. work around can create new template, know. want fix not work around.

2.does issue happen specific excel workbook? if yes, please provide affected workbook in shared folder our test.

does issue happens after update office?

4.detailed mac version. (apple icon>about mac)
