Release Preview Ring does not work. MSFT negligent? Who's in - Microsoft Community

i have commented on problem before.  gist this:  rp ring not receive builds (it isn't supposed to).  rp ring supposed receive ordinary quality , security roll ups current public release of windows (build 15063).  difference should receive these roll ups week or in advance of patch tuesday rp insiders can spot problems in updates , report them.  supposed enable msft catch , fix problems before reach general public.  that's ring for.  no builds, regular updates few days early.

the problem not happening.  release preview ring receives quality , security updates on patch tuesdays general public.  useless catching problems enough msft fix them before reach general public.  late.

since quality , security roll ups come release service branch , not development branch (like slow ring , fast ring builds) possible msft not making service branch fulfill responsibility provide these updates rp ring intended.

think release preview ring controlled development branch ,  service branch has nothing it. though great idea if ship patch tuesday updates beforehand rp ring.  when introduced said concerns windows insider builds, see shipping rtms before build hits public.
