Recover data from Internal Storage - Microsoft Community

hello there.
use lumia 638. few days had put files in phone storage , after updating phone software, they're not there. didn't delete them either. how can happen when normal update. i've updated phone before , has never happened. how can restore data? important files , have no other copy of them.

with regards concern on how recover lost data on phone, we'd know if able create backup on lumia 640 before update. if yes, have tried checking data if available on onedrive account? otherwise, option recover data unavailable.
