Lost product key any solution? - Microsoft Community

i bought dell desktop in 2016 , bill of sale says came trial version of office 2013.  don't recall that, whatever.  know till recently, i've been using complete unencumbered version of office 2013, guess must have upgraded whatever trial version got dell full version. 

trouble is, lost product key.  have problem word , need repair uninstalling , reinstalling, i'm stuck when try activate product key cuz don't have it!

i went dell site , reason not understand, has no record of product key either.  i'm sure didn't buy stand alone version, i'm stymied.

is there way around @ other paying office 2016 version , starting on scratch?

i'm not sure want yet, because i'm not convinced problem word 2013 word.  else, , if there's chance i'd out $229 office 2016 , woulnd't solve problems either!

if bill of sale states office 2013 trial version trial version.  in event if did not purchase  retail version of office 2013 oem version , therefore recourse vendor/dell.  try repairing
office 2013>right click on start button>apps & features>right  click on office 2013>modify>choose 'quick repair>do not chose online repair.


Office / Install, upgrade and activate / Windows 10 / Office 2013
