Excel 2016 returns an "error" when trying to transpose in a - Microsoft Community

hi

one of our users has large spread sheet , when clicks on transpose, returns following error:

the data in preview has been truncated due size limit. reducing number or filtering may load

more data.

when user tries same, sheet loading.

the user has problem has:

office 365/office 2016

8gb ram

what ?

we need gather more information better assist concern. kindly answer following:

  • when did issue start?
  • were there changes made on computer or in excel file before encountering issue?
  • what full version number of office. know version number of office, follow steps here.
  • does issue occur on other excel files?
  • in excel file having issue, issue occur when using transpose function on new spreadsheet?
  • does issue occur when using transpose function on new excel file?
