Teams - Public Team not visible in Teams gallery and not found via - Microsoft Community

         

dear all,

we on boarded on teams , while making our first team chose made public want share company employees.

still no 1 can access team or search unless group belong or added members of team.

i have impression contradictory normal behavior of public team:

from teams support site:

what's difference between public team , private team?

private teams can joined if team owner adds them. won't show in teams gallery. on other hand, public teams visible teams gallery , can join them without getting approval team owner.

i haven't been in office365 admin panel (i not admin) toc heck if there parameter update there.

can me in making public team public: visible in teams gallery , findable via search?

may know how did create public team , search it?

usually, user can create teams via microsoft teams application or web client. clicking on add team > create team > give name , choose "public".

then, should search team in way: click on add team > type team name > search.

try creating new 1 see if can find it.
