Why can´t I save .msg as .msg in IE 11? - Microsoft Community

hello all,

i have following issue ie 11.

in our company use web based desk system need download .msg created in outlook (containing attachments well). 

in ie 11, when "left-click" link .msg, new tab opens containing encrypted text. if "right-click" , choose "safe as" have option save html.

so question is: there easy way enable saving .msg ".msg"? , not save html?

(i know of workaround have possibility change file extensions, while saving, change html msg , file gets opened in outlook, other employees don´t , can´t have option change extensions)

e.g. in chrome "left-click" prompts download dialog save file .msg , "right-click! > "save as" there .msg option. see same behavior in ie.

a .msg file email message, contact appointments or task created or saved using microsoft outlook. since you've mentioned you're under company or organization environment, we'd know if you're using enterprise version of windows. check build , version of operating system, follow steps on link.
