Update to 160299 keeps failing. - Microsoft Community

i have fitted new hdd same result.

i puzzled because have updated 160299 on other machine.

you don't give details system hard make suggestions.  getting sort of error code?

every often, have insider not install.  1st step run update  troubleshooter , re-try.  hit this week when fed 16299.15 iso public build , fired error code..  troubleshooter did report problem , install took place on 2nd try.

better details = better results
