Microsoft Edge ram usage - Microsoft Community

i have microsoft lumia 640. love phone, it's never let me down. had since week after launched.

fully updated, apps , phone.

but noticed microsoft edge, when cache cleared, eating of phones ram.

nothing concrete, 1 tab open, slows waaaaay down. , takes between 30 seconds 2 minutes close out (press , hold button> press x close open "windows".)

no other app on phone seems have issue, including rather heavy resource games play. 

doesn't seem matter whether under normal setup or after full factory restore.

any ideas? or edge flawed , should switch uc browser?

edit: (failed mention while edge open battery consumption doubles! doesn't matter how many tabs open. wtf!?!?!?)

it can latest update of edge browser somehow isn't compatible lumia 640. may reset phone it's original settings of windows device recovery tool, , have compatible os update. have mentioned clearing cache didn't make difference @ all.

let know how works.
