Windows 8.1 phone will not backup to OneDrive any more - Microsoft Community

has been major issue windows phone forever!  in past, told delete backup , try again.  now, move windows 10 phone, , wanted final backup before moving new phone, did before , deleted backup.  did not fix issue, cannot backup.  have turned phone off, synced email, etc.  attempt backup, fail saying cannot connect 1 drive.  logged 1 drive on computer right now, , there nothing in backup!  pay 50gb of space, told backups failing , may lose because microsoft continually shows how little care phone users.  according microsoft website, windows 8.1 phone backups should supported until @ least july 2018.  pissed right now.  oh yeah, , here other infuriating thing.  when logged 1 drive on laptop, see no devices associated account!
