Excel for Mac Vs 15.39 DRAG PROBLEM - Microsoft Community

upgraded newest version of microsoft office mac. on 1 excel file, had no problem before upgrade, anytime go make change inside blocks sits there ball spinning 10-30seconds before change made. have plenty of ram , hd space, , not else running in background mail , clock prog. no other app fill in or type in has drag. excel. why? how stop this? frustrating!

please try followings check if there improvement:

a.  go system preferences > security & privacy > privacy tab > accessibility (on left menu), , disable 3rd party apps have controls on computer.

b. in excel, click tool>excel add-in, if see custom add-in, please disable them.

c. starting mac in safe mode steps in article, , open excel check result.

 if above can't fix problem, please provide following information:

1.  view using, page layout or normal view? please try switching view different 1 used previously.

2.  problem happen specific files or files? check this, please try creating new blank spreadsheet see if there difference.

3.  perform specific action when "it sits there ball spinning 10-30seconds"?

4.  mac version build can check apple menu->about mac.

didn't have add-ons; didn't have excel add-ins. of sudden prob stopped , flows smoothly when typing changes. have no idea why messed day?! tks anyway!
