Excel Corrupts on Save - Microsoft Community

@ loss, keep ending users when save excel file gets "corrupted" when open file ask if want restore file, click yes , claims removes things nothing ever seems missing. can save locally or on network , still "corrupt" files. can open brand new work book absolutely nothing work book, save it, , claim corrupted once saved. have had issue while on office 2013 on 365 , still problem. used uninstall office , reinstall , couple months nothing seems fix issue more. fix have them save it, have user (who doesnt "corrupt") open it, tell restore can, save under different name, delete original, rename "restored" file original name. after open no issue until users "corrupt" open , or no change @ literally save , once again "corrupt"

we suggest open workbooks in safe mode(press , hold ctrl key , double-click excel shortcut) check if issue persists. if issue don’t exist, please check add-ins 1 one (file>options>add-ins)to figure out 1 caused issue.

if issue persists, to troubleshoot issue, please share more details it:

1. does issue happen special workbooks or workbooks?
2. the extension names of related workbook.
3. the version number of excel.( file>account>product info) , os.(win+r>type cmd)
4. related screenshots prompted information.
