hi everyone,
back again in place know guaranteed me.
with table below, need cells in last column change colour if first column has word motor selected drop down. there way that? thinking of conditional formatting can make first column change colour when word motor inputted.

select cells in final column and, in cond form dialog, use formula =$a2="motor"
the 'trick' lies in single $ in reference a2
