referring following online file, know on how determine score based on 2 different variables shown below:

marks - higher better
mistakes - lower better
each assigns 50% on total scores , no negative values
normalization not working in case, since there no limitation on how large numbers are, 10000% or more

have suggestions on how determine score in situation?
