Excel converts 2.8.2017 automatically into 42949 in Windows 10. How - Microsoft Community

i remove formula makes these conversions. however, don't find it. can me please. many thanks. best regards

this issue caused number format of cell being typed. format it, kindly follow these steps:

1. select cells want format.
   
2. click on home tab.
3. on number group, click arrow next list of number formats, , click on more number formats.
4. on number tab, you'll see category: box.
5. select date.
6. click on ok button save it.
