After windows updates, my webpages only fill up 25% of the screen - Microsoft Community

windows 7 on 3 year old dell inspiron computer using internet explorer.

i installed july 2017 monthly updates , webpages open in upper left quarter of screen. last year happened i found updates kb3185319 & 30 causing it. removed them and the webpages full screen again. 

i've tried maximizing pages , stretching them manually pages don't stay full screen. i don't want system restore again since has 1 of updates. one(s) though? thanks!

this not caused updates. fix simple , if ever close smaller window may have repeat procedure.

try procedure...

with 1 ie window , 1 tab open...

open webpage. stretch out fullsize. don't use maximize.
choose link on webpage , right-click> open in new window.
stretch second window out desired size- don't use maximize.
close first ie window. close second resized window.

don
