ever since updated microsoft edge have no longer been able access it, screen opens few seconds , closes. noticed after large update went wrong, did following day: thought rectify situation not case.  i hoping see update today rectify situation not seem happening. please explain going on , when may expect microsoft edge working again inconvenient.

you mentioned issue microsoft edge started after update. may know update installed on device? open update history in windows 10 see, here's how:

  1. press windows key + i to open settings app.
  2. from settings, click update & security > windows update, select update history.

also, may know version of windows 10 running on device? kindly type winver in search bar beside start button press enter check.

the update caused me lose microsoft edge installed on 15 august:  windows 10 version 1703 x64 - based system (kb4035543)

i hope large update took place updating laptop ages, , have had further update following day completed quickly.

my windows version windows 10 home, version 1703.

i hope enables restore windows edge computer quite useless without it.

have got "trustee rapport" software installed?

if there conflict edge.

i uninstalled trustee rebooted & edge works

but ensure have other av software installed
