bought new macbook air office 365, installed office won't activate.    message: says have reached limit of computers allowed.  but created new account , says can't find license new account.

help.

hi jeannie,

may see error when have reached maximum number of activations office allows. office 365 subscription gives 5 installs on pc or mac. if purchased office 2016 mac single license, one-time install.

office 365 business users, please refer steps in article below deactivate office installs no longer use.

deactivate office 365 install
