Error on Simple Excel Formula - Microsoft Community

i trying subtract several cells 1 cell. =sum(a20-(a21:a25)) keep getting "#value!" can subtract 1 cell @ time, inconvenient. ( not issue have changed around. have made sure numbers formatted numbers.

i working on windows7; office 2010.
