Downloading books - Microsoft Community

i use office 2016 mac on mac os laptop running high sierra. 

i want download entire public domain books laptop can’t figure out how. example, there website called internet archive has more books ever read. how download ones want read mac in way can read them , annotate them in office program?

i have onedrive 1tb of storage storage space not problem.

would possible me read them , annotate them on ios devices?

haven’t mastered calbre yet, think i’got it.
