Windows Edge and Mail apps all crashing Store wont open - Microsoft Community
help!
windows 10...
my windows mail app flashes , wont open on pc, edge doing same thing.
tried uninstall said go windows store...that won't open!
tried troubleshoot , says windows store cache may damaged...
also tells me purgecache not working?
i'm not super tech savvy (obviously) can follow instructions!

start running windows store apps troubleshooter.
open start > settings > update & security > troubleshoot
scroll down bottom
click windows store apps
click run troubleshooter
when complete try opening store again.
check if store works in user account.
press windows key + r
type: wsreset.exe
hit enter
couple times try launching store again.
antivirus might interfering store, try disabling 'temporarily' see if launches.
check windows update , install latest updates. microsoft releases infrastructure fixes store through windows update.
can try resetting store app using following instructions:

if not work, try resetting software distribution folder:
before carrying out procedure, disconnect internet. means turning off wi-fi , disconnecting wired connection. if don't, windows 10 indicate files in use , cannot modified or command non-responsive. also, should restart computer after disconnecting internet. easiest way enable airplane mode action center - windows key + x.

2. stop bits, cryptographic, msi installer , windows update services. this, type following commands @ command prompt. press “enter” key after type each command.

3. rename softwaredistribution , catroot2 folder. can typing following commands in command prompt. press “enter” key after type each command.
ren c:\windows\softwaredistribution softwaredistribution.old
ren c:\windows\system32\catroot2 catroot2.old
4. now, let’s restart bits, cryptographic, msi installer , windows update services. typethe following commands in command prompt this. press enter key after type each command.
net start wuauserv
net start cryptsvc
net start bits
net start msiserver
5. type exit in command prompt close , restart computer.

click library
scroll through list click download button beside apps want reinstall.
