What else might control the Internet Explorer 11 menu bar? - Microsoft Community

hi folks, i've found internet explorer 11 menu bar isn't shy , doesn't want go away haha!

* rt-click , "menu bar" isn't there uncheck

* view > toolbars > menu bar stays permanently checked

* local group policy editor (both computer configuration user configuration setup have "turn on menu bar default" to disabled

* regedit has hkey_current_user\software\policies\microsoft\internet explorer\main\alwaysshowmenus set "0"

what else might controlling this? organizational thing? (this work laptop.)

the gpo setting turn on menu bar default applies new user profiles.
