PowerPoint unusably slow today on Office Insider Fast program, what to - Microsoft Community

i'm on office insider fast, version 16.7 (171017) on mac. powerpoint extremely slow, unusable. because of insider fast updates? if yes, how can revert previous, stable version?

thank you for note. insider fast builds pre-beta test builds, often inherently unstable , buggy. idea find bugs can fix them early. more stable build, still beta, you can go slow build. in mac, can use time machine roll earlier build. might take a stable build if had 1 before.  

if workhorse machine, want install production or retail build. stop getting insider builds, in 1 of apps, click help>check updates> , uncheck "join office insider program..." in autoupdate dialog box.

i haven't tried it, i'm not sure if can go directly retail unchecking join insider, , clicking check updates (anyone out there know?)

if not, drag apps trashcan, go to the office 365 main page, , click install office 2016 apps (i did yesterday on 1 of machines, know you're going through).
