hi trying make . if  of cell b5:c5:d5 has text  should appear in a5 if b5 has text put yes, if c5 has text put no , if d5 has text put maybe , put 1 text on of 3 cells .

can use either of formulas in a5

=if(b5<>"","yes",if(c5<>"","no",if(d5<>"","maybe","")))

=if(istext(b5),"yes",if(istext(c5),"no",if(istext(d5),"maybe","")))
