How do I reset my settings in my Edge browser? (Ver - Microsoft Community

i'm getting "failed validate download file" errors while trying edit files box in msft office apps , resetting browser settings seems possible solution. thx.

hi,

resetting microsoft edge not resetting other browsers. microsoft edge core component of windows 10, not separate app. there different ways reset let's try basic method first.

1. open “settings” menu clicking 3 horizontal dots in upper right corner of edge window , choose “settings.”

2. under clear browsing data, click “choose clear” , click “show more.”

3. there lot of data types there. select them all and click “clear.”

4. restart pc , re-open edge clean slate.
