upgrade from 16241 to 16251 fail!! - Microsoft Community

i have windows 10 16241 build , when try update 16251 give me error:  an update being prepared device, it's not quite ready yet. we'll keep trying

already try check windows update , give me error database corrupt, try everthing run windows update troubleshooting rename softwaredistribution folder.  run sfc , dim tool , end same error.

if saw history of updates .. show me message update

hi juan,

we understand unable install windows 10 insider preview 16251 update. sometimes security software installed in pc prevent actions on computer may have caused issue. since you've performed troubleshooting steps, suggest disable antivirus , firewall software temporarily , see if able download windows update.

note: antivirus software can protect computer against viruses , other security threats. in cases, shouldn't disable antivirus software. if have temporarily disable install other software, should re-enable you're done.


please update on results.
