Label Inside Date Field - Microsoft Community

is there way have label "date received" show in a textbox formatted short date when textbox has no data, but, when populated, retain short date formatting? able in other text fields, not date format.

in query use 'calculated field.'

displayname: nz([yourdatefieldname], "datereceived", [yourdatefieldname])
