OneNote Syncing Error - Microsoft Community

i have been getting same error message on month.  still seems sync eventually, keep getting error message below.  particular notebook flagged yellow caution sign every day.  how can fix it?

error code 0xe000002e temporary issue. happens when onenote needs refresh can’t automatically. since mentioned has been happening on month, need additional details isolate concern. kindly answer following:

 

  • which windows 10 build using?
  • which build , version of office 2016 using?
  • can provide screenshot of error message you’re getting?
  • does happen when opening particular notebook?
  • does contain specific data of file type other notebooks don’t have?
  • is happening when onenote in safe mode? click here instructions on how open onenote in safe mode.
  • did make changes before issue happened?
  • what troubleshooting steps have done far?
