Another blue screen with DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION. - Microsoft Community

another windows 10 sad face blue screen dpc_watchdog_violation.
i've been having nightmare problem 2 days now, ever since attempting clean install of windows 10 on 3 year old dev pc.
have not installed new hardware , not experiencing problem before re-installed windows 10 (previous os windows 10, had re-install unrelated reasons (visual studio installation, need work, deciding irreparably corrupted , not being helpful enough allow clean install). leads me believe is not hardware problem driver problem , therefore solvable sufficient application of effort.
problem intermittent - might take 5 minutes or hour mouse freeze (sometimes stutter , freeze), the
keyboard becomes unresponsive , hangs blue screen. pattern can descern it
seems know when i've relaxed, thinking last tweak might have fixed problem, before striking again.

to save time, here's i've tried already. of these steps taken *after* problem started , have failed remedy problem

  • updated drivers, obscure ones (i used driver booster 3 on steam)
  • updated bios of motherboard (asus p9x79, on revision 3203)
  • scoured forum
  • followed anannya's advice,  , used ms sata driver. unfortunately, didn't work me.
  • ran full memory check (no errors)
  • ran chkdsk /f on each of 3 drives, no significant errors, problem wasn't fixed.
  • upgraded nvidia drivers, rolled back, installed old drivers, think of.
  • removed 1 of hard disks.
  • i've turned off 'fast start-up' in 'control panel\hardware , sound\power options\system settings' websites suggested related
cannot remove graphics card have no spare that'll work motherboard , no onboard graphics.
have reviewed event viewer logs. pertinent ones seem 'bugcheck' errors. here's example:

computer has rebooted bugcheck.  bugcheck was: 0x00000133 (0x0000000000000001, 0x0000000000001e00, 0xfffff80255c87370, 0x0000000000000000). dump saved in: c:\windows\memory.dmp. report id: 1440bce6-bf73-44e2-9ab8-f51d22033ee0.

i've run memory dump through windbg
i've used 'bluescreenview' nir soft @ least tells me module(s) causing problems. examples:

thank getting us. based on dxdiag file you've posted here, you're using windows 10 insider build. upon checking dump file analysis , based on reply, you're on build 16299.19 public build of windows 10. know exact build of windows 10. can check build of windows 10 following steps below:

  1. click windows logo (start button).
  2. click gear icon (settings).
  3. select system.
  4. on left pane, choose about,

we know when did issue start , clarify if there changes made on computer before encountering issue.

according file you've provided, issue being caused nvlddmkm.sys connected graphics driver. sine you've uninstalled graphics driver , using basic driver, there may issue graphics card itself. if possible, highly recommend use graphics card see if you'll encounter issue while using it.

we'll waiting response.
