Product Activation Failed - how to activate if I'm a student? - Microsoft Community

hello, downloaded office apps via outlook error message saying product activation failed, , need enter product key activate it. i'm student valid student outlook account, supposedly office free use, how should activate without product key then?

information above relates office professional plus 2016 - office students office 365.  suggest uninstall office professional plus 2016.
