Countdown timer help! - Microsoft Community

trying develop spreadsheet manufacturing company, want easy way visualize time to complete specific task. therefore need spreadsheet that contains multiple countdown timers. each timer @ different times , start based on time value in cell example (calculated time complete task: cell a1=02:17, countdown timer begin time). want repeat on multiple occasions in spreadsheet, appreciate on one!

format cell a1 custom format  hh:mm:ss

so,

if want 2 hours , 17 minutes, type 2:17:0, returns 02:17:00

if want 2 minutes, 17 sec, type 0:2:17, returns 00:02:17
