Youtube hanging - Microsoft Community

hi

i have laptop windows 10 home os microsoft edge web browser. last (about) 10 days videos on youtube hanging after minute while rest of pc or websites function fine. , "youtube not responding , recover webpage" error, have click or refresh page. have gone wrong?

hello vinay,

the issue unable play videos on youtube using microsoft edge may arise due browsing history, flash player, missing or corrupted system file. in order isolate issue, we'd ask few questions:

  • did make changes computer prior issue? if yes, tell more it.
  • are using latest version of flash player?
  • what troubleshooting steps have tried far?
  • are experiencing issue when using different browser?

meanwhile, recommend checking if flash player enabled on browser. so, follow steps below:

  1. launch your microsoft edge.
  2. click (...) > settings > view advanced settings. 
  3. click on to use adobe flash player.

we suggest updating adobe flash player. kindly follow instructions under how , install update on this link.
