Install I.E.11 - Microsoft Community

hello there anyway can delete & put new install of i.e.11.  i did reset on i.e. because not seeing browsing history. have box unchecked in browsing history not delete history. have day's set 20.  i don't believe in private browsing believe read can turn on & off control- shift-p. not in address bar. how tell sure not in private browsing. delete i.e. & re-install not no if possible. ideas?

not seeing browsing history. 

ries resets ie's browser history doesn't directory contained in.  so, if ries has not fixed problem next step should deleting directory contained in.  doing give clue wrong anyway.

so, show tif content supposedly going enter  shell:cache

and show browser history (visited url list date) open  shell:history

both of should open in file explorer if have folder pane open know located , able delete them way.  

note have choice tif content goes using internet options settings move folder button.  so, possibility if  shell:cache  doesn't open or if doesn't go have expected.  shell:history in 1 standard location if somewhere else have been moved accidentally, e.g. dragging icon in file explorer folder pane.  in case might possible drag should go delete , make sure got regenerated there properly. 

a common thing can go wrong these directories attributes can corrupted , cause problems way.  that's reason delete them , them regenerated.
