How can I uninstall Office and put onto another computer? - Microsoft Community

bought a new laptop costco, installed new office taking laptop back. i'd uninstall office , put on old laptop, that possible?

if it's office 365 version , purchased separately (as in, not tied purchase of machine, free version came purchase, etc.), yes, can that.  from old computer (and while signed in microsoft account associated office subscription), go settings / accounts / manage microsoft account / services & subscriptions / install office / (cancel/close auto-install window if need remove office returned laptop first).  under "install information", click "deactivate install" right of returned machine, click orange "install" button @ top , follow prompts.



Office / Install, upgrade and activate / Other/unknown / Office 2016
