Microsoft Teams Crashing When Starting or Answering a Video Call - Microsoft Community

hi,

on surface laptop, teams crashes white screen recovers , states there glitch. i've checked updates , checked potential driver issues may interfering it, no luck. ideas?

i understand using microsoft teams desktop app, right? may know if happened 1 client (surface book)? , if happened every time when start or answer video call or occasional? 

please try turn off firewall check if issue persists.

if issue persists, can try below steps collect teams logs after reproduced issue:

  1. click anywhere of teams app.
  2. press “ctrl + alt + shift + 1”, receive notification file download on bottom-right corner of screen.
  3. click open it.


note: please start collect logs after issue occurred.

to protect privacy, please send logs via private message.

besides, please provide screenshot "white screen recovers , states there glitch".
