Is there a way to view two different workbooks in one copy of - Microsoft Community

when open multiple workbooks in excel, each 1 has macro bar, status bar, etc on top.  useless , creates clutter, since can use of macro bars of files (to prove this, click on 1 workbook , start entering formula references workbook, can continue formula in either formula bar).

i have lot of excel workbooks open @ 1 time, , excess macro bars, etc. huge pain.

we can't view 2 different workbooks in 1 window or copy of excel 2016.

 

in excel 2016, workbooks open in excel cannot displayed multiple workbook windows inside single excel window. instead, shown separate excel windows. because workbooks don’t share same excel window, displayed own ribbon, , can view open workbooks on different monitors.

for detailed information, please refer view 2 or more worksheets @ same time.


 

about example give, when create formula link workbook, able enter formula in formula bar of workbook, after finish formula, need enter data in every workbook individually.
