Error 3252 after "waking" Windows 10 - Microsoft Community

cannot open form underlying query contains user-defined function attempts set or form's recordsetclone property. (error 3252)

this recent behavior, , i'm bit reluctant restore backup have created bunch of new forms , reports, etc.

i haven't been able determine error being thrown, access never complains when i'm opening forms, queries, reports, etc.

the common denominator appears seems occur after re-logging in windows 10 after pc goes "sleep" mode (dual monitors go black)

i have searched in vbe "recordsetclone" , replaced:

dim rst dao.recordset

set rst = me.recordsetclone

... more code here.

set rst = nothing ... before exiting procedure

with:

with me.recordsetclone

... more code here.

end with

as said, it's difficult determine causing error, , trap it.

i've downloaded , installed offcat (microsoft office configuration analyzer tool 2.2)

from https://www.microsoft.com/en-ca/download/details.aspx?id=36852

when ran it, problem found version update had not been done, fixed that, , re-ran again (no problems found)

also noteworthy here within last few weeks:

1.) our organization has upgraded office 2010 office 365 (2016)

2.) replaced laptop running windows 7 pro brand new laptop running windows 10.

3.) many of forms , reports contain subforms/subreports, , have read elsewhere linkmaster/linkchild pairs can cause if there not controls on forms bound them. again, though, i'm not receiving error 3252 while viewing or entering data!

my next step insert error handling every procedure in entire db?

(i know --- should have don outset.)

i waiting on fms tell me if i'm qualified upgrade on previous version of total access analyzer can check dependencies , start removing unused queries etc.

any other tips?

tia, don

yeah, correct. modified group policy, , problem has been rectified.

bizzare ...
